Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Any yellow bikes out there?

I'm building a single speed from a mountain bike frame, and I can get it powder coated yellow for free. Haven't seen a lot of yellow bikes posted in the other threads.

Yeah, it is a Cinelli Olympic, great frames and they are fully chromed underneath. Dunno why the SuperCorse gets all the love...

I know someone that can throw it into the pile when the gas pipes get coated; all for the price of a 12-pack.

I picked up a gold stem for $2 at the LBS; they have some pretty good deals on parts. Probably going to use my tan leather saddle and maybe a yellow chain.

stolen about 6 weeks ago. mostly just miss the brooks :( getting used to the san marco rolls I got instead since you can get a decent rolls for 15 bucks, but you can't get a usable leather saddle for under 40 :/

By bike, it's a grid. By car, it's a congested mess where you have to dance around forced-turns. There are still a fair amount of one-ways to respect on a bike, but you can almost always go one block further and catch the one-way in the opposite direction. I guess it WOULD be a problem if I did more East/West commuting, rather than North/South.

my taRcKbiEk is yellow, but it's more of a pencil-yellow. no pics on hand, but maybe you'll get lucky once i get home.

Here is a pic of my yellow road bike. It is a 2006 Fuji Roubaix. Mine is almost exactly like that but with white grip tape and a CF seatpost.

Gman, that frame turned out well. I like the shade you ended up with. I have a yellow bike as well. I like that yellow's a pretty easy color to see for car drivers... now if we could find a way to MAKE THEM look up....

Just picked mine up off craigslist about 2 weeks ago.. and don't worry, the bullhorns are fixed and a new saddle is on its way.
