Texas - Bonnie and Clyde ride this Sunday in the OC!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey everyone, we hope to see you all there. So far we've had over 150 riders confirm for this
fun ride. It's gonna start at Dealy Plaza and eventually finish at the Belmont Hotel.
The Belmont has offered us a sweet deal on Shiner, the patio bar is awesome if you've never been there.
We hope to see you all there. tell everyone.

We won't be able to make this one, but hope to join you for the "Notable Architecture of Oak Cliff" ride. ;)

"Did you know?" department:
While working as a waitress in Oak Cliff, Bonnie served meals to one of the law enforcement officers later involved in the terminal ambush.
Clyde once wrote Henry Ford, praising the new lightweight Ford models equiped with relatively powerful engines: "I always steal a Ford V8 when I can."

I was at the last one, the pace is slow and easy...Very laid back crowd...Bring anything with two wheels and you'll be able to keep up.

My wife and I are going to try to make it. I am just getting back on the bike after a 20 year hiatus, and she has only ridden her road bike on the roads once, so is not yet very comfortable with it. I am hoping that this is a good ride for both of us.

Bonnie and Clyde are the name of our two cats!
Since they don't get to go outside, (the screened porch is their outside,) They are going to have to watch it on TV....
too hilly for a fixed gear bike?

It's not too hilly for a fixed gear at all. My buddy will be there on his and I'll be riding my s.s.

should be perfect weather!!!....
Darn it! I already told my Mom that I was gonna take her out to eat. I really do want to make one of these rides.
Last time I was driving back from WRL with bike on the back and as I crossed the Zang bridge, I got caught in the tail end of the Oswald ride. It looked like fun and there was a few single speeds.

I was there and the ride was a hoot. This one seemed shorter that the Lee Harvey ride. They have an upcoming Art crawl planned. Also, they ride around Oak Cliff every Sunday leaving Jacks at 3:30. I'm not sure how soon I can join that one but I should be at all their major rides.
