Try sidi, either standard width or mega (wide) width, as they go to at least an EU52.

Or look at:

I also saw some Diadora's in a 50 last weekend. They seemed to run a little large.

I have some Lake MX85's in a 50 as my commuter shoes, also have some Shimano's (can't remember the model number) and I have tried Sidi in the past. I would say that the Lake model I have fits a little longer than the Shimano but is a bit narrower. When I initially got them I thought they may end up being a bit too narrow but they broke in very quickly and are now quite comfortable. There is little chance that we have the same feet though so you are going to have to wait and see.

I have to send my Lake size 50's back. I wear a 14/15 and they didn't cut it. All I hear is that Sidi's are the only ones to run true to size.

I wear 16-17 US and wear 52 Sidis. Great shoes, but the price really bothered me at first. After a year of use, they are still going strong.

I made a complaint/request to Bike Nashbar that they put in a search for shoes by size. I'm looking for another pair of size 50 road shoes and not only did they not have any, but they make you seach each individual entry for size.

I did find these at another site
Louis Garneau Ergo Air 2 Road Shoe in a size 50 at www.bicyclebuys.com (http://www.bicyclebuys.com)

I gotta say, I feel your pain. I wear a size 16 US and gave up on clipless shoes. The ones that are available (very few) unfortunately break my budget.

I use MKS Touring road pedals with clips/straps on my road bikes, paired with New Balance cross-trainers. Usually do three centuries and many miles a year, and have gotten by very nicely. No one gives me any guff about not being "clipless" (maybe being 6-9 and seated on a monster bike has something to do with it). Good luck, though, because I understand the strap thing isn't for everyone.

i punched in the search string "51" in to bikepedia and it gave me a list of shoes available in that size or close to it and then provided links to where i could purchase them.
