Oh well gosh - my that's looking lovely! The brightwork's all looking very shiny. Love the v-brake positioning and colour-coded susp forks. You must be getting impatient to get out on it I'm sure...

Those are sun cr18 451 wheels with a sturmey archer 8 speed. I got the v brake bosses from gaerlans (had to mill them for the fitment i wanted ). the fork is rst with the original handlebar adjustment clamp (i copied the raleigh cutout and it works great) I brazed everything myself and the sandblasted everything for the rattlecan special paint job. then covered it all in a shiny rustoleum laquer. im glad you all like it. more pics to come after my crank and chain arrive and my build is complete.

have you tried it for clearance between the brake and the chain.
Ive had problems getting a brake on my RSW because of that.

well ive got it together and everything fits well. i've got plenty of clearace between the crank and rear brake and it works great. got a straight chainline by lots of trial and error. the bb is a un25 113 wide. (my threads were too shallow for the un72) the fixed cup went in all the way and a little sanding on the plastic cup and a spacer from that fit perfectly(junk drawer find) got it fitting nice and tight. 6th gear is about my limit right now for just cruising around. i am running 46 teeth on the crank and 25 in back with 175 arms. next time i think i'll use a 44 or 45. tomorrow i've got a friend whose gonna copy the soma high rider stem a few inches longer for me on the lathe. (thank god for free machining) i built this bike to take to metro beach in michigan and use on the bike path there and wanted a more upright position. i had a heart attack at 36 and need to stay in shape. with my work hours a trunk bike is more convenient than my mtb and i can go ride at a moments notice. these forums are the best for the wealth of info and i couldnt have finished this project without them. pics of the finished bike will be posted a soon as i get another computer. using my phone right now.
almost forgot, i dont have the badges but will be lookin at the ann arbor bike show lookin for some the last sunday this month.
