Folding Bikes - This forum needs a "Guide to Folding Bikes" Sticky

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm new to this folding section and know nothing about all the brands out there. I was expecting a sticky that offered an overview and guide to folding bikes. I'm surprised there isn't one. I would do it myself but I don't know jack about folding bikes which is why I'm here. I'm new to this folding section and know nothing about all the brands out there. hi Steve, welcome. There is this facility called google. You could try "folding bike buyers guide", or, to be particularly helpful I would recommend you could try "googling", as it is called "the folding society", and there you will be able to find the kind of thing you are looking for.
Oh, I was wondering to about your name, but the answer is here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macaroni_(fashion) am I right?
Where I come from a sticky has another meaning, and I am going to get outside one. Cheers !

Ahh.. I see. This "google" you speak of... does it also direct one to sites where individuals offer patronizing responses to simple suggestions? If this "google" has such a facility, then by golly I should probably take my sarcasm elsewhere!

hi Steve, and there you go, thats the problem with written communications, I thought the patronization was coming the other way, what with the repetition and all. And if you google "the folding society", you will actually find what you want....
I'm sure lots of us did our fair share of digg'n, prior to taking the fodler pluge. Its good fun! give it a try:)
Welcome to the frorum, and to fodling bikes macaroni-san.
Rgds,

beware of bias opinions, but thats just my opinion.
