Hello everyone. I am just getting into road biking. I did a bit of research online and searched through Craigslist for a good buy and came across this guy.

From what I can tell, it is an 81 Miyata 610. Obviously some parts have been upgraded as it is no longer 10 speeds. I am a casual rider looking to ride to run a few errands and helping keep my cardio fit.

What do you guys think, a good looking bike? Would it be worthwhile keeping it around and upgrading a few parts here and there to make it last for a while?

That Miyata definitely looks like a nice ride, by the way. Yeah, it'll make you a fine steed!

Yes, a nice bike. Let us know in C & V how it works out for you. We have a couple of threads devoted to Miyatas in particular.
