well i have done all my homework and looked over everythin and i have narrowed my look for a rim down to 2. I like the shadow conspiracy spw for $189 and then i like the haro 25/9 conversion for $140. Which should i choose. id have to buy a sprocket for the conspiracy so that bump me up to 210-220. so what route should i go? Or should i go a little cheaper way and just buy a fre coster hub( http://www.danscomp.com/426151.php?cat=PARTS ) the one in the link buy a double wall rim and spokes and just run a 13 36? i just ride dirt jumps not a lot of skate park at all. so thanks for all the help.

That's a freewheel hub just to let you know. But I would just go with the cassette.

I don't know. It's a really good price though. But then again, you probably wouldn't have to worry about the Shadow hub. But I'd wait for someone else who knows more of what they're talking about to reply.

yaa ok im sure you would know this though.... between a freewheel and a driver will one hub roller better than the other.... like will the shadow roller better than the coaliation? thanks

A cassette should roll smoother than a freewheel if that's what you mean. They also have better engagement from my experience.

ya thats exactly what i was asking. so now just wait until i get an opinion on what rim i should get. thanks for the help

If I were you, I would seriously just go for the Haro.
03-26-09, 07:57 PM
why is that??
03-27-09, 07:59 AM
because it has a casette and you wont have to buy a sprocket seperate. and when worse comes to worse, you can just start replacing stuff

Go for the haro, it's alot more solid then a freewheel hub, especially considering that one is from shadow. It's no different then any other cassette using the same driver, its just powdercoated and has a haro logo on it.
