the other day in class. We were talking about my new cellphone. I commented that "everyone has this phone."
Me: " Everyone has this phone."
Friend: "I don't have this phone."
Me: "That's because you're nobody."
Friend: "But, by being nobody, I am perfect. After all, nobody is perfect. If I am nobody, I am therefore perfect."
Me: "By saying 'you're nobody,' I meant it as a compliment for I already knew that. By you not acknowledging and understanding my compliment immediately, you are therefore NOT perfect. You are nobody, AND you are not perfect. I'm sorry, but you seem to have fallen into a niche of logical hell."
He gave up after that one :)
