dude seriously.

we can't help if we can't understand you.

i spent a few minutes and you don't understand how cranks work. 103 is for the stock cranks. if you don't have the stock cranks then that changes.

Hey, methinks the guy asking for help should be a bit more nice. :D

Do you mean, "Will a 50t chain wheel work on a Surly Steamroller?"?

Typically, BB spindle length coordinates with the type of trank you buy. Actually, not typically, ALWAYS. Look up what type of BB spindle the All City requires. As for chainring size and chainstay clearance, you're probably alright.

thank you i thought the 103 measuement was to fit inside the bb of frame itself

No, the spindle length (103,107,111, w/e) is only used to determine chainline/compatability with cranks. The only measurement that matters as far as the BB actually fitting into the frame is the threading and shell width. 70mm is Italian, 68mm is English. I am guessing yours is 68mm, but I'm not sure. Should be easy to look up.

Time for a new BB dude! The All City's require a 110mm spindle length so you need to get a 68x110 BB.
