Saxo Bank switches over from their own purchased Shimano (not sponsored) to SRAM Red (sponsored?!? not sure)

In a very short amount of time, SRAM is making major in roads in the pro ranks. You think of how long it took Shimano to be prominent in the pro ranks, SRAM's rise is quite impressive.

hey as long as they have to buy their own stuff, might as well be the best. SRAM is indeed lighter and it works just fine.

Sure it happens with some frequency...but I wonder how happy Cancellara is about the move after yesterday?

Not the first time he break stuff; remember him using alloy cranks instead of FSA carbon ones some years ago?

from Cycling News today: "after that unfortunate - and very public - mishap on the Koppenberg, Saxo Bank mechanics were seen swapping the team bikes to Dura-Ace 7900 chains the following Monday."

DuraAce chains with SRAM drivetrain, hope it works better.
