Well last night I was diagnosed with Tendinopathy...looks like I need a minimum of 6-10 weeks, and maybe as long as 6 months to heal.
Then I'm supposed to change the activity that caused the injury, which is cycling. :(
To say I'm crushed is an understatement, I'm actually nauseous.
Have you gotten a second opinion? A third? Surely, this can't be the only way to combat this porblem!

Yes, I'd also recommend a second opinion.
I was once incorrectly diagnosed as having a patella tendon problem, so I dutifully rested for a month whilst icing and stretching very carefully, but to no avail. A second physiotherapist diagnosed chrondomalacia after detecting some grinding bone under the knee cap. Anyway, the problem was rectified in three days after performing some simple weighted kicking exercises to improve the 'firing' of the rectus femoris.
So yeah, second opinions can be handy.
Where exactly is the pain?
