I can see several reasons why someone might want the thread they opened locked.

But something like "I don't like your replies (http://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.php?p=8610926&postcount=153)" is pretty lame.

My opinion.

As a courtesy, we generally close a thread if the OP requests it, and would do the same for any member, so it's fair.
