This was my birthday ride in March. This paved trail that led to where we were going was chopped up. They were doing construction for there WAS no more trail due to it being washed out.

2ish mile backcountry hike (not cool in racing boots with long, heavy race skis)- multitude of avalanche and other warnings. (got a little altitude sick and bailed a bit early on the hike. Got my butt kicked on the hike by people 2x+ my age, from sea level. :o)

That is an incredible picture. The flex of the wing. Good landing - trees and phone lines in the background, just making it over the pool...

Pity it's photoshopped. Rather bad in the hedge - did they get tired of working on it? Foreground looks good.

Those canada geese can be a real pain in the arse....especially in spring when they are "protecting" their young. They can break finger bones easily with their bites.
