Tried to get my Oury grips to stay on the handlebars in vain.
Nothing works, keeps moving. Tried with hairspray and alcohol etc... no luck.
Now trying to use the 3M spray glue Oury recommends.
Is there anything similar to that, which works the same? Can't find anything from 3M in Tokyo.

Any Japanese stationary, photography or art supply store should have a spray glue comparable to 3M products. If you cannot speak effective enough Japanese, just write your inquiry in English and one of the staff should be able to direct you.

Otherwise, the local Home Repair Store('Lowe's/Home Despot'-Nihon Edition) will have products grouped similarly to the states, so figuring out spray glue should be fairly simple. I'm in Okinawa and have been in Iwakuni & Hiroshima; I enjoy their art suppply & haedware stores more than the US--so much greater variety of widgets & products for a greater degree of style & finish!

Yeah made some progress. Japanese is fine, that's not the problem. I went to Tokyu Hands and got the spray glue, but that isn't the best solution. I stopped by w-base, in Harajuku and asked the guys in shop what they use. Turns out 'Parts cleaner' works just fine. Not sure what to call that in english, but the stuff you use to clean a greasy engine or parts like that. evaporates super fast, but extremely easy to slide the grips on while wet. Used that and haven't had them move since.
