I saw a Giordana Super XL road bike for sale. The frame is Excel Podium HR tubing and the components are Shimano 600. Is it a nice rider? I have heard that there were some problem with this tubing due to brittleness. True? Does anyone know what it is worth? Thanks a lot for any help.

Many of these Giordana's were handbuilt by a couple of pretty well known builders and some of the rarest, fanciest ones can be collectible. The typical Giordana's I've followed over the last two years have been all over the place finished pricewise, on Ebay. Some have sold for as low as $220 in good shape, while some have gone for just north of $900. Most have been in the $300-$450 range. Post pics, specs and condition report.

I bought my '92 Giordana Spica frameset 2 years ago for $400. Mint condition, Columbus TSX tubing with matching steel fork and chrome rear. Designed by Dario, built by Billato and pure Italian. Nice frame and a good ride. 3rd from left in my sig photos - click on it to see more.
