I was riding through Santiago Canyon today, backwards, at same time they were doing the TT. Here is what I observed. On one or two occasions one of the competitors was drafting off another. Not kool, but that's life. On a few occasions random people who were not doing TT were drafting off a person who was actually competing. :wtf: People drafting off total strangers unannounced bugles my mind in general, but this goes way beyond that. heh What a hell is the logic behind it? "Oh look someone on a fancy shmancy TT bike with a number pinned going all out. Oh I know I'll draft off of him. Maybe we can trade pulls like in Tour De France!"

I did the TT today. I passesd a group of about 6 guys riding in a paceline (not racing). When I passed, they jumped on my wheel. They didn't last long. Either they saw the number and realized, or they just fell off. It was such a nice day, the canyon was a bit crowded.

That's hilarious. I rode through the canyon later in the day so I missed seeing the TT. Pat, did you win?

It might have been you that I saw! Were they wearing black jerseys?
