I garbage picked this thing in 1980, and even then it was old. It had a steel 3 star cottered crank on it that said Paramount on the arms. I replaced it with a Campy crank I had hanging around. It also had a Campagnolo globe/sunray looking sticker under a Reynolds 531 sticker. These flaked off when I touched them. Says Schwinn Paramount on the downtube and has the schwinn olympic looking sticker on the seat tube and has some amateurish looking pinstriping around the lugs. I can't tell if paint is original. Original to the bike when I found it are only the wheels and campy headset and Steel crankset now long gone. All else I added. On the seatpost binder bolt area is a serial number - very clearly says 6188. Bottom Bracket says SWISS MADEN (sic?) . Can anyone help identify this thing? PS I hope the pictures load. This is my first post and have never loaded photos before.

Well, it certainly is a beat-up mess. I seriously doubt you can manage to get your asking price. It is in such a poor condition, why did you not start at a lower price?

The pin striping does point to it being a Schwinn.
