Today on a 25 mile ride I averaged 19.01 mph. This is the first time I averaged over 19 mph on a 25+ mile ride. I have had a 19+ on a much shorter ride before. My previous best this year was 18.7 for a ride of 25 or more miles. There were quite a few riders out today and I was able to push myself faster to pass groups ahead of me. I was passed one time but managed to stay not too far behind the guy. He killed me on the hills. He was about 15 years younger too.
