I was looking at a Surly Big Dummy for loaded touring. Seems like the RANS Hammertruck or Sequoia with the RAC would be decent options instead of the BD. The CF sound like they would comparable yet more comfy.

Any CF owners in or near KY that would be willing to let me have a test ride?

I also have a trip to Cleveland coming up and will be at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, CA next month, so I could do test rides in both of those places too.

Thanks for any offers, plus feedback on the CF vs. BD approach too.

http://pub23.bravenet.com/forum/1970022224 go here and ask. It's the "official" Rans CF site. Some one there should be able to help. Or try bentrideronline.com , the CF section is under "specialty groups"
The first one I listed should be your first option in my opinion.

See, I told you that you'd get a response on the Crankforward board. Hope that works out for you.
