Yesterday at Manda, Texas race I picked up a nail in my Blackwell carbon clincher wheel. nail went through the tire, in and out of the tube, and straight into the carbon rim. The rim was punctured but there are no radiating cracks. Blackwell is out of business so I can't send the rim to them for inspection or repair. What can I do? Is the rim trashed? Can it be fixed? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Might try sending a picture to Calfee (http://www.calfeedesign.com/) and see what they have to say.

It can be fixed. Different ways to do it. Comes down to cost-effectiveness.
