Both my pairs of Specialized shoes recently broke and are being replaced, I just borrowed a pair of Sidi Genius 5 from a friend. I was wondering how you remove the insert in the sole? I use Speedplay pedals and hear that you can remove that insert and mount the cleat in the recessed area, reducing stack height.
