Cyclocross - HELP!! Poprad: 52 or 55 cm? (5'10", 31.5 inseam)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I know you can't fit a bike with just these measurements... but I need a ballpark figure. I haven't tested a 52 cm, but I feel comfortable on the hoods with the 55 cm (not much standover clearance at all though). I feel a little stretched out on the drops, but maybe a shorter stem???? I don't know if I'll feel too cramped on a 52. I have a bit longer torso and shorter legs.. HELP!! I know there are a lot of poprad owners here

i'm 5-10.5" 32.5" inseam on a 55 cm. it's long a long top tube 561mm or thereabouts. i bought a 52cm initially and returned it after a couple of 20 mile rides. it's a big size jump

55. no way a 52 for someone your size. especially with the long torso

Just for reference, I'm 5'7" and ride a 52cm Poprad that I feel fits me well. I can't imagine that it would be appropriate for someone 5'10"

I disagree. The white and blue is vastly superior. :)

I'm fairly sure it's an 05. I love this bike. This was my race bike for this season but next season will be a Cannondale. Now it has mustache bars and racks.

you guys have it all wrong. Black/Blue '04 is best by far. 853 'nuff said.

anyway I am 5.9, with pretty even torso/legs and I ride a 52.. perfect, a 55 would be way too long. Id say ride both first!

either way, great bike (orange is NIICE!!!)

(I'd love to make a picture collage of all the poprad years, maybe 2000-2008)
