In this case an Oryx. Simply because it is unique and canadian.

I'd go Oryx, because A) I don't like Specialized, and B) Oryx, like Maelstrom said is Canadian, and I was looking into buying a bike from them but went with a Kona instead.

Ive got nothing against specialized and i think they make good bikes but everyone has one so there's no way i'd get one too.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not meant to be offensive, its just my opinion

I just got a specialized P3 that I was able to finally get ridable yesterday (the guy sent me everything but the bearings for the headset... figures). It is such a fun ride and if you can get it for the right price it is definately worh it. I don't know much about oryx, but I was going to get one but had a change of heart and got my diamondback. They look like they are good bikes though.

Edit: from your posts though you ride xc right? I remember you saying that you made a team though and neither of these are xc bikes. you could trail ride with them but I wouldn't want to race with them.

Yeah, i race XC. But i want a bike that is just strictly freeride. I'm still keeping my Diamondback.

uhh.... you are?

thats not the story i heard..

anyway, those too would NOT be good for XC racing.. and having a Z1 for a fork would not be good for racing either..

I try to ride Canadian, and I just don't like them. It's just one of those things you can't explain really, it just is. There's no definitive answer to why I don't, I just don't. So illogical, but it's how I feel.
