General Cycling Discussion - Unicycling forum, keep it around?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Id like some feedback from the members, should i keep the unicycling forum around? Or get rid of it?

Is it really causing any problems? We might as well keep it.
I don't think it gets enough participation to keep it much longer. Maybe you should replace it with a different category that could be taken out of the general forum to keep the general forum's size down?
Recumbents don't get a lot of hits either, so maybe unicycling could be a sub forum of that group?
What would you put in that space? Anything?

Unless it's blocking the creation of a new forum then I'd be inclined to leave it. It doesn't get much traffic, but it might do again at some point (I tried unicycling the once without any success at all). If it is in the way, I'd maybe put it as another subforum of the lounge, just so that it's there for anyone interested in the future.
It's nice to see recumbents picking up more traffic again, it's a shame cycle cross doesn't get much.

ljbike has a good point about joining with the recumbents. Although the recumbent forum gets a lot more posts than unicycling, maybe both unicycling and recumbents could join under a general "alternative wheels" forum.
Just an idea.

I don't really have a personal opinion on the matter. I don't ride a unicycle, nor do I intend to in the near future. I tried my roommate's last year and almost broke my nose. That was quite enough unicycle fun for me.
I'm inclined to agree with Chris and Richard though. Unless it is in the way, causing problems, or filling a place that could be more productively used, we might as well keep it. It's not really bothering me. To be honest, I usually just tend to ignore it.
Steele: an "alternative wheels" forum is an interesting idea. At the very least, we'd be prepared (forumwise, anyway) for when that God-awful Segway/Ginger/IT thing hits the streets. :p
