Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I would, but the Tidewater Bicycle Association's "Knotts Island Century" is the same day.

I'm doing it, as well as the Cap-to-Cap on May 9th (www.virginiacapitaltrail.org) and of course, Bike Virginia in June.

I did it last year, and it was pretty cool. Lots of meandering around trying to find the right routes though. Some of them were just bizarre. The organizers have an ecological objection to printing cue sheets (I guess) so you have to follow the color-coded markers on the road.
It was flat and easy riding, and lots of good company though. Watch out for the wandering families on mountain bikes....

hi tulip. I'm really looking forward to Bike Virginia this year. Last year was my first time and I had a blast. This one is closer to home, and I'm fairly familiar with the area (at least from Culpeper northwards.) Hope to see you there!

I thought I had a route sheet last year. Perhaps not.
Anyway anyone want to form a team for a discount?
Joe
My girlfriend and I may be interested, but we're scheduled for a 5k memorial run for National Police Week.

Hi Joe. If I recall they had maps on newspaper-type paper, but not actual cue sheets.
