I have cycled from vancouver b.c. down the coast to san fransisco (great ride), and the alaskan hwy from fairbanks to dawson creek, and to vancouver, (best ride).
Would like to ride from oroville washington, south through death valley to las vegas, nevada. Has anyone imformation on best routes, winds, camping, water, etc? Would be going in the early fall. I would be shooting for 75 miles/day average. Am 63 and using a devinci monaco hybrid carrying full panniers for camping etc., so would like to keep away from constant headwinds and the steepest mountian passes.
