So I decided to see what was in the web covered old bike parts box in the garage. Found some interesting parts for the touring bike. :thumb:

What do you guys think:

Shimano XT M735 Front and Rear Derailleurs in very good condition (did a search and they are early 90's 7 sp)

SunTour XC Pro Crankset (170) in average condition. Rings in good shape 42, 32, 20(!). Should be compatible with the XT, right? Found a Shimano LX 550 (175) Crankset, but prefer the 170.

Dia Compe SS7 Brake Levers (search says these rocked back in the day)

Dia Compe 987 Cantilever Brakes (ditto)

I think there are some old Shimano 600 downtube shifters somewhere...

Not for this bike but found a nice SunTour Superbe Rear Der too...:p

I can use this stuff without problems, right? Guess I gotta check the Front Der's attachment...:twitchy:

Thanks for enjoying my 'finds' with me...

I've built up a couple of bikes with good condition or NOS vintage components. Most have functioned as well as my high dollar new bikes. Use them and enjoy!
