I am having the toughest time choosing a bike trailer. I am not a serious biker, I only own a cruiser bike, but I live in a community where I can bike to most things and would like to use my car as little as possible this summer. I only have once child, but want a double trailer for the future. Storage room is important (I want to take it to the grocery store) and it must convert to a stroller (though converting to a jogger would be nice too). I purchased the Baby Jogger Tailwind for a steal of a price and LOVED it, great quality, very sturdy and well built, but it doesn't convert to a stroller so I returned it. I would love a Burley or Chariot, but I only want to spend about $300-350 total on the trailer. I've thought about the Burley Honey Bee or Chariot Caddie but I know the Caddie doesn't have much storage and I haven't had any luck finding a used one in my area.
Do you have one that you'd recommend? I want one that will last me through a couple kids, though I don't plan to do long rides with it (mostly around town, but probably every day in the summer). I feel like I've researched this to death and can't find one that is a great quality AND a great price.
TIA!

From what I'm reading, your only option is to find a used Chariot off of Craigslist. Chariot Cheetah2 runs about $500 (chassis only) at REI. I have a Cougar2 for my ~2 year old and couldn't be happier with it.

Look for a Kidarooz trailer. I believe it's made by Chariot but most people seem to buy them at Costco. I have not used one but friends who have them really love them. I don't know about the storage, you'll want to check it out in person, but I think the price range is right for you.

I know its above the price range you want to stay in but I have the Chariot Cougar 2 as well and absolutely love it! the interchangeable system makes it great for going to the store ect... you just ride where you want detach from the bike flip the carriage kit wheels over and store the bike bar on the trailer. we use ours to go food shopping with 2 kids and can put quite a few gerocies in the storage pouch as well.
