Commuting - If I ride to work and don't work, does it still count as commuting? :)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Rode in to work today. Got there about 7:15 and there's a whole bunch of folks standing around outside the entrance. Turns out there's no power in the building. Initially we were told it would take less than 1 hour to fix. So we all stood around until 8:45 when they finally said it would be at least 4 hours to fix. So I rode home. At least they set up a recorded message we can all check before heading back in. Looks like I might get 80 miles of commuting today!
 Sure, I do it all the time. Don't tell my boss... ;)

Well sure!
I plan on doing ALOT of "commuting" when I´m unemployed after my exam in a month. :D
Ahh, life is sweet once in awhile..
Of course it does.
If you ride anywhere to avoid the use of a motorized vehicle it couts as commuting in my book!
