Since last saturday, I've been relatively sick. I managed to rock out a 43 mile group ride on Sunday, and felt good, but I did 45 solo miles monday night and barely brought it home, I felt like garbage. And, by Tuesday, I was miserable. I went to the doctors with a sore throat, pink eye (separate issue ahah), achyness and a fever. Turns out I tested positive for influenza B. Well it's now thursday and while I feel a little better, but I'm still not sure if I should start riding again. I haven't done any serious exercise (no lifting/cycling) since monday, and when I get back to it, I want to feel 100%, and not run down like I did on monday. So, should I ride tomorrow, or take Saturday/Sunday off and start riding again on monday? I don't race, so there is no crucial date by when I need to be in peek shape for, but I'm leaving for Greece/Italy next Wednesday (school trip, no cycling), and I won't be able to cycle for a week, so I want to at least get a ride in before that.
