I'm just getting into biking and after messing around with some friend's bikes I realized that the grips i'm probably getting with by bike hurt my hands after a while. So i know this is kinda different from person to person but what do you think are the most comfortable grips?

ODI Longnecks. Best grips ever made.

Longnecks are the only option.

I wear gloves, so I haven't really noticed if my grips are uncomfortable or not

I wear gloves when I race, but when I'm just screwing around I don't. I love my Longnecks.

I've heard that the Animal Edwins and Revenge's Customer Friendly Grips are also pretty good too.

Edwins wear out way to fast.

Rode with only ODI since 88'.

Except for the one time in the early 90's with Jive.

That's a long time to trust and only ride one company.

I would have to say that Ouri grips are my favorite so far. When I hit bumps, I don't feel much of a shock in my hands. Probably from all the rubber.

have to agree with everyone else, ive ridden seriously like every grip and ODI longnecks will not disapoint you...they are sooo comfy even brand new out of box they are tolerable compared to other grips broken in. if you need a secondary then go with edwins.
