Have a Trek 7500 FX with the standard straight handlebars. Although these do just fine, I still get tired and sweaty hands after an extended ride. In addition, there are some times I prefer to be in a more "straight up" position without risking loss of control.

Thinking of putting a set of Nashbar Road Handbar Add Ons but need to know if anybody has had any experience with them. For $30 including shipping, it seems like I can hardly go wrong.

Any input greatly appreciated.

A lot of guys with straight bar roadbikes use those big old hook end bar ends... it gives you a few more positions, and is pretty cheap and easy to install.
