Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just cool to catch up with.. and maybe bicycle right into the gig.
Do you people know anything?

Rock is a universial word, i know therfore its dangerous and difficult to put this topic up.
So lets NOT discuss what is what and who is the best, we are different..
Dont have to be well known band/artist. But if you suggest a unknown it better be very good..

But nothing is better for me personally to catch up with a outdoor or good indoor fest with the band/music that i like when i go touring in a foreign country in the sunshine.

Catched up with the Irish Cranberries in Irland the summer of 2002 or 2003, we did not know that they was playing, just biking into it in the sunshine. It was a great outdoor show with thick smelling special smoke all over the arena but not on the stage, and the sun was shining.
Dolores was the front figur in Cranberries, this is her one of her new "solo" shows:

But yes, lets get death metal, general metal, rock and pop to this post, arenas or inside.

Slayer, Guns N Roses, Christina A, Ripping Corpse, Paul McCartney, Megadeth, Roger Waters, Delores, Metallica, Anvil, Kreator, Bruce Springsteen or whatever..

You definitely want to check-out Montreal and its wall-to-wall Summer festivals:

Music-wise:
- St-Ambroise Fringe and Baroque (well... you said anything in Rock didn't ya???) Festivals in June
- Jazz, Raggae, Osheaga and Francofolies in July
- Festiblues in August
- Pop Montreal in September

You may want to ride to the Woodstock in Beauce outdoor Rock festival. Outside of Montreal, but an absolute riot every year:

Halifax Pop Explosion, it happens in October. Lots of bands, big and small, over a few days, all over town.
