I've recently found out my bike is a Raleigh Commando (Thanks to Leigh for that) and I was wondering how much it is worth. I think it's 1976. For more details see http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=52484. If anyone has any idea of its value please let me know. :)
Cheers,

Anyone any ideas? If you haven't got a clue how much it's worth how much would you pay for it? :)

Hi there,
This looks to me (and I am in no way knowledgable) like not a lot of money. maybe almost no money. Unless you're a retro cool DJ and it's in perfect condition. If you're trying to sell it, just ask for "offers". If you're trying to buy it, offer a very low sum (say $30) and see the reaction. Sorry if I'm insulting your pride and joy. There are many advantages in not having a super techno ride.

Hmmmm, what does every1 else think?
It may be worth $20 Canadian here in Montreal.
Some "muscle" or "wheelie" bikes bring good money here in the US, most don't. I'm not real knowledgable but the top of the order seems to be Schwinn Krates and Stingrays. Raleigh "Choppers" are popular but I've never heard of the Commando.
There are websites dedicated to that genre of bikes. You'd be better off asking there or maybe there are some "old school" fans over on the BMX board?
