Shaping up to do a tri in August, and am training on my road bike. Would like to add aerobars onto it, and need some advice.
I am 1.79m tall, have a top tube of 55.5cm on my bike, with a 110mm stem. The set-up is just nice for road riding now.
Got the following questions:-
1) Would straight extension or arched bars be better on my road bike? Something like these below...

2) The Profile Design Airstryke has the flip-up arm rests which i find really good as it allows access to climbing holds on the handlebar, but I don't quite like the Airstryke. Are there any alternatives?
3) What other minute adjustments do i have to make if i want to get something of a road/tri hybrid? I know it's hard but willing to try.
Thanks for any input.
