Classic & Vintage - Raleigh Grand Sports 10-speed

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I have a c. 1974 Raleigh Grand Sports 10-speed in very good condition. It has a lugged frame, which is white with turquoise trim and gold lettering & highlighting. Chrome on the lower half of the forks & rear half of the chain hangers. Most of the equipment on it is original, but I have an Ultegra rear derailleur, Planet Bike fenders, and a cyclometer. New tires. I want to sell it on eBay, but don't have any idea what it is worth. Does anyone have input? The reason I am selling it is that I cannot get up some of the hills near my home & I have three 27-speed bikes equipped with Shimano STI gear.
Hard to say. You can check retroraleighs.com to see where it fits into the Raleigh line and then check ebay completed sales for models above and below.

Ive been watching those for a while and the average is around 175.00- 200.00. Sadly it appears that one gets more $$$ by parting them out. Larger ones seem to go for more.
Be sure to mention in the title that it is 531 double butted and made by Carlton.
