Hi,

I would love any kind of information regarding this Moser I purchased. It was complete except for the wheels, which the person who sold me the bike said got stolen the second week he had it, apparently he never road it again, too bad.

The bike is complete other then that, original bar tape, moser logos on headset, everywhere, also a backwards arrow kind of logo, the chainstay is chromed, see pictures.

The component group is shimano exage, 6 speed, complete group, with that old school bio-pace oval chainring.

I would love to know when this bike was made, ie: sold. what the original selling price for it would have been at the time, what it might be worth now, to know if I paid too much, what the frame material is and anything else anyone might know.

also I know pretty much zip about the wheels that are on it I just picked them up but they seem pretty sweet.

thanks
jefferson

I believe Biopace was a mid to late 80's thing. There are date codes on most all Shimano components. Usually on the back side. Get one, go to VintageTrek and look them up on the database.

I had biopace on a 1988 bike as well as a 1993 bike. +1 Look up the date codes, that will tell you for sure.

It isn't from 90'ies because from 90'ies Moser bicycles received new decals and new colour schemes, like mine: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?p=9033393#post9033393
I think that my bicycle was made in 93. It has some digits at the bottom of the bottom bracket shell, one of them is 93, so I sugest you to search for some digits under your frame.
