Hi all, new to forums. Couldn't find this information on google, so I decided to ask in here. (hope this is the right section ;o )

Im in Vancouver B.C. and I own a Huffy 'hear no evil' monkey/clown bike. It's tiny (handlebar height from ground is ~45 cm, tires are 15cm in diameter) and it probably can't break jogging speed. It's not like im going to be going through traffic on it or anything or even going anywhere at a good rate of speed. I was wondering, do I still need a helmet for this?

Thanks all, any info is appreciated.

Hiya,
I have a friend that rides a unicycle in Van without a helmet and she's never been stopped by anybody. Dont know if that helps, but I think it's the same genre of bike. Worse comes to worst you could just ask a cop, they are often pretty up to speed on that sort of thing.

It's still the law that you have to wear a helmet but it's very unlikely that the police will ticket you.

If they do, it sounds like a situation the press would love to know about.

The image would make irresistible copy.
