Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

NOT using any tires or tubes?
I'm not talking about some ghetto poor-ass kid ****. I'm talking about intentionally taking those heavy tires and tubes off of the rim.

I've been riding tireless for a long while now, and I'm wondering why anyone would add all of that excessive rational weight to their bike. Those tires just make the ride not enjoyable, what with the squishy feel and the need to keep your tires inflated every time you ride and all.

It's pretty amazing not having to worry about flat tires ever, and I can perform mad skids for miles sometimes. I've also noticed that while I've always had to retrue tired wheels often, this tireless setup requires no truing ever and I'm guessing that the wheels will need replacing less often because of this.

Also, I should mention that I pour lighter fluid on my rear rim before every ride so it catches on fire from the sparx of my mad skidz.

Dude I am totally serious. If you haven't ever tried it, you aren't allowed to voice a dissenting opinion.

Yeah dude. Tires just get dirty and they're a hassle always having to inflate them.

once did this in a junk yard when I found a bike lying around. I fell on my ass trying to take the slightest turn.

There used to be a LEGEND around my neighboorhood in the late 80's early 90's.

He was a gay hispanic man named "Jorjito" who always hit on underage kids. He rode a road bike on bare rims EVERYWHERE.
