Hi all, new on this site but hoping someone can help me out!

We are currently clearing out a shed and have found a Quintana Roo Kilo bicycle... We have no need for it so are intending to sell it. I'm used to selling on ebay etc but experience has tought me that you should never just say "a quintana roo bike for sale" on an ebay aution!

So, is there a way that I can easilly identify the bike? I understand they are a pritty top make. Below ive listed a few points in the hope someone might recognise it. The bike will be at least 3/4 years old i think but will check later how long its been in the shed. Its starting to show signs of rust but it still lovely to ride and is very smooth...

the bike is...

yellow,
has "Quintana Roo", "Private Reserve", and "Carbonaero" written over it. The seat is a different make so guessing its been replaced at some point.

sorry its so vague!

If anyone could shed any light on what model etc it could be and how much I might be able to get for it I wold be greatly appreciated! thanks in advance

If it is a size 56 frame, ship it to me and I'll do my best to identify it for you. It may take a few years to complete the research ..... :D

so how exactly would i go about seeing if my bike is that one! Are there serial codes on parts or anything like that? Or should i just measure wheel sizes etc?

Perhaps you could try contacting QR directly and ask them They will need more info to work with. They probably can cross the Serial # and ID the bike for you. The serial # may be located under the bottom bracket (where the pedals go thru the frame) on the underside of the frame. Are there any other markings /' labels on the seat tube ?

Hi again. i think you may have got it right first time! I've just been out and it all seems to match up!

the wheels say... deep 28 hole aerohead

the handlebar has syntace written on...

it has 18 gears...

and ive seem that it does say QR on the fork and the main frame...

the seat says Pirelli on it. Frame serial number is 53 K1500. i migh send that off to Quintana as you said to confirm its the right one!

thanks a lot!

only one other question then, how much do you think it may be worth? very minor rust spots that would prob come off with a good clean, slight chipping on the base of the fork, guessing from storage or falling off or somthing! Any pointers would be appreciated!
