When I was dirt jumping today with my m8s, nearlly every time i went over a jump my feet went up off the pedals, they came back down and I nearlly always bailed out. I have a mongoose villan. Is it my pedals not being particulray amazing, or is there sumthing i need to do when im going over the jumps?

Not familiar with the pedals- Have removable pins? New ones if missing or worn.
And I found skateshoes Airwalks (very flat) that have small tread holes that fit onto the pins well. almost impossible to slide of horizontal.
Also use more of your upper body as shock absorber-relax and let yourself compress with the bike as it lands- equal pressure on all contact points (don't let the pedal axle take it all.)
All I can think of...

Yeah, I would replace the pins if they are replaceable. If they aren't you should get some new pedals with replaceable pins.

Sort of a twist on new cyclists just adjusting to clipless..most worry that you won't get out of the clips...I particularily find that SPD cleats come out real easy.
