Hiya

just a quick introduction...my name is Lars, I've been a keen cyclist most of my life, started at a very young age, inspired by my dad ;-), raced and rode cycle marathons but 7 years ago moved to London and while I love the city it's not great for cycling. So my beloved Principia Road bike and all other bikes of my fleet ended up collecting dust in my parents' basement :-(

Anyway, last summer I got on a bike again after moving to a centralish area in London from where I can bike-commute to work, so I re-activated my (also beloved) Cannondale Omega MTB ('91). There's hardly any original parts left on it anyway but now I am also in the process of 'urbanizing' it, yesterday I got my new wheels and slicks and I thinking about some more modifications which I'll probably have questions about in this forum ;-)

Ok, back to work!

Lars

welcome :) I too am in london. It isn't too bad for commuting cycling as the drivers tend to be fairly aware of you, however the streets do leave a lot to be desired!

yes, that's true, there are so many cyclists around that drivers tend to be aware...if now only the cabbies could use their indicators BEFORE they turn and the world would be a better place :p
