Hi folks,
Just heard about this one- seems like a pretty cool opportunity, raising awareness for MS.
Phil is riding to raise awareness and funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The ride also coincides with the launch of NOW One Square Meal into GNC stores across America. "I fly over 400,000 miles a year and I figured it was time to stretch my legs. I love to ride so I thought I'd see what this great country looks like up close instead of taking a bird's eye view at 30,000 feet," said Keoghan. "In this economic climate, bike riding makes a lot of sense -
it's good for your waistline and easy on your wallet."
Phil will be cycling over 3500 miles on his ride from coast to coast, averaging 100 miles a day and spending about six hours a day in the saddle. Is he crazy?...quite possibly. Will it hurt?...heck yeah. Have a good look around this site, then go to the "Riding for a Great Cause" section and click through to the donate page... Phil ain't doing this for fun you know, let's make it worth his while! You can ride with Phil by signing up here (http://main.nationalmssociety.org/philrides).
Unfortunately I won't be able to meet up with his crew, but hopefully some of you can!!
