Hello,
Do you guys know of any bicycle dealers in Atlanta that carry recumbents?
Before making my new bike purchase, I would like to ride one.
Thanks,
Paul

With the goal of gaining another convert, I researched it.
Silver Comet Depot (http://silvercometdepot.com/) carries three brands of trikes, and the Trek Store (http://atlantatrek.com/page.cfm?PageID=49) apparently also sells Rans recumbents.
Not Atlanta but close. TTR in Greenville, SC specializes in tandems, trikes and recumbents hence the name - TTR. Scott/Nathan (father & son) have a great selection of bikes and are experts. Check their website. I have no affiliation with the store - just a satisfied customer who purchased a tandem and a recumbent from them. Mike

The silver comet depot may not have what you're looking for unless you're looking at trikes. I was there about a month ago, and they stopped selling their short wheel base or higher quality long wheel bases because people would come in, test ride, and not buy from them. The guy said they simply couldn't afford to keep it up. They still work on the full line, I saw a speed machine the first time I went. I freaked. xP It was the first recumbent I had seen in person.
In any case, they carry good trikes, and entry/low level long wheel base.
I've looked for shops too, but I'm not really in the market for a recumbent. I guess I never was in the market. ^^; I haven't heard of the Trek shop, but I imagine that if you want to test ride, you'll have to hoof it to Greenville. : (
