Has anyone here rode the Elizabeth Ups & Downs? I have gone past Elizabeth on my way to Galena and it looks hilly to say the least.

Wow. Weird.
I vacationed in Galena quite often as a youngster, and is one of my fondest memories. My family still vacations there today although not so often. My parents had at one time owned property at the Galena Territory.
Anyway, I recall a crazy hill heading east on 20 going down into the town of Galena. Since I rediscovered cycling a handful of years ago, I've been daydreaming about riding UP that hill starting in Galena town and heading west ending at the entrance to the Galena Territory. Was actually reminiscing about this earlier in the week. It's beautiful country!
I wouldn't be able to do this ride now with all the hills involved. Thanks for posting this though. Something to shoot for. Someday...
