General Cycling Discussion - Buying biking stuff in Canada

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey for all you Cdn riders which online shopping outlet do you use to buy your biking stuff. I have been checking out the Nashbar site and they have nice stuff. I have used MEC in the past but I do not find the same kind of selection that Nashbar has. Can anyone recommend any good Canadian websites that sell biking stuff.

www.bikeroom.com
www.johnhenrybikes.com
www.unbeatablebikes.com
www.bikecanada.com
Thats all the ones I ever buy from (80% of my stuff comes from bikeroom)
Bikeroom appears to be way overpriced. $403.84 befor taxes and shipping for op's on ultegras. I just paid 149.99 at my LBS for the same wheels and no shipping.

I spent some time on the John Henry site and I liked their selection of stuff but it does seem expensive. Man I can't get over how much stuff there actually is that goes with bikes or biking. Heart rate monitors and computers and all kinds of stuff. I like all the gear but it sure does take bit out of your pocketbook. I am in the market for a BOB trailer and on one of those websites it was listed at over 500.00. The Mec website has the same trailer for 350.00. For 500.00 you can get the Ibex trailer. Anyway it is fun to shop and not have to deal with leaving my computer.
