Hey there,

I'm on the bike diet getting it to nirvana :D. Trying to turn my geared beast into a single-speed beauty :D

It has a Suntour XCC-300 crankset that is riveted. Is there an easy way to remove and seperate the chainrings and replacing the single middle ring back onto the spider arm?

Who would've thought that it costs more money to actually strip down a bike to a simpler form !

Hmmmm. Dremel off the other rings with a cut off wheel?

Second the rotory tool that RetroGrouch mentioned, but make sure you have some kind of nut and bolt on hand to hold the ring to the spider.
