Anyone tried it?

I am thinking of getting this guy.

Is it possible to set intervals on it with alarms?

I've got it -- works well, doesn't suffer from interference from my Dinotte light. You can program intervals into it, too. However, I don't think that it beeps an alarm. The display shows a small "o" to the left of the timer, and it's higher during the work period and lower during the rest period.

Thanks for posting a link to the manual. I emailed Blackburn a week ago about that very thing; I've never heard anything back from them.

I hope that doesn't speak to their customer service.

I've heard both good and bad about their customer service; I haven't tried using them myself.

Those manuals are on a CD-ROM that comes with the computer. I couldn't find them on the site, so I'm grateful for whoever's hosting them.
