Im piecing together a 9spd dura-ace group for a frame I just bought. Is it possible to use an older dura-ace crank, pre-9spd? Im using downtube shifters and going for an oldskool look anyway so the aesthetics of an older crankset don't bother me.
Thanks
Are you just queerying the aesthetics or the width of the chain ring?
I'm not 100% sure, but I think the rings are the same width.

Yes. I use a Dura-ace 7410 crankset (8-speed) in an otherwise 9-speed drivetrain.
