Im loving these forums. Im 30 (31 tuesday). I went to my LBS and got fitted and test drove a couple of bikes. My first one I tried was a hybrid, something just wasn't right though, so I asked the sales guy if I could try something a step up. And he showed me a flat bar roadbike. He even said, "Now this one might seem like a rocket compared to the other." I loved it imediately. It comes in middle of next week and I cant wait to ride it. I used to do alot of long distance running, so I think this will be a great fit.
I think back when I was in my younger teens on a bike, the freedom in riding and being able to go anywhere the road will take you. If any of you from Indianapolis want to join up, I might need a partner soon!
